Next up on the Black Mamba’s sneaker series following his retirement is the Kobe A.D. “Compton.” Nike has released images of the forthcoming shoe, which is suggested to be associated with All-Star DeMar DeRozan from the Toronto Raptors. DeRozan was born in the Southern California city and has received PE’s like the “Alternate” from the A.D. line.
The footwear embraces a monochromatic colorway of light bone and white, accented with embroidered details and marbled print along the heel counter. “The City of Compton” is inscribed on the insole while Kobe’s brightly-colored Sheath logo stands out against the tongue. A full-length translucent sole rounds out the shoe, subtly blending in with the rest of the upper. The Kobe A.D. Compton is expected to go on sale sometime next month, but be sure to check back for official release dates.
