If you were a fan of last year’s Air Jordan 12 “Wings,” you’ll be excited to know that the Air Jordan 1 High will be receiving the same golden treatment. The newest member of the “Wings” clan boasts an upper constructed of premium distressed leather, featuring a brushed gold effect over a black base. Other special details (not pictured above) characterize the unique pair. The distinctive Wings logo, a motif of Jordan’s wingspan, appears on the tongue tabs and gold plates at the heel counter, the golden Wings pattern appears on the insoles, and finally, an icy outsole reveals “WINGS” on the bottom.
As with previous Air Jordan “Wings” shoes, this iteration of the sneaker is expected to be a very limited release for charity, with all proceeds going towards a nonprofit program focused on education and empowerment for kids.
