Dwyane Wade Unveils a White Colorway for the Li-Ning Way of Wade 6

As the brand’s most recognizable ambassador, Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade has always turned heads with his decision to forego signing with larger sneaker companies in favor of Chinese label Li-Ning. Working together to curate the Way of Wade collection for the past few years, the two have unveiled the newest member of the collection. Initially shown on Wade’s Instagram page, the latest colorway of the Way of Wade 6 features a patterned white body with hits of silver along the shoe’s strap and Wade’s logo on the tongue and along the side. The sneaker’s design is finished off with a translucent design on the sneaker’s outsole that reads “WOW SIX.”

Analysts Predict Features of Apple’s Next iPhone X

According to a new report from Clotheshorse, Barclays investment bank analysts Andrew Gardiner, Hiral Patel, Joseph Wolf and Blayne Curtis have made predictions on what Apple‘s next iPhone — successor to the X — will look like.

In the research note obtained by Clotheshorse it states, “Based on several data points within the 4Q17 reporting period and our supply chain meetings at CES, we remain confident that Apple is set to deploy its TrueDepth 3D sensor across the iPhone range in 2018.” The TrueDepth sensors are part of the phone’s Face ID, but the note suggests that the second-generation sensors could lead to a “smaller notch” on the iPhone X.

The analysts claim the range itself will be comprised of three iPhone X-based designs: a second generation iPhone X, larger iPhone X Plus and new, cheaper LCD model I dub the iPhone X SE. They also went on to predict that a rear-facing ID sensor could come to phones by 2019, writing: “Our discussions with suppliers suggests Apple and its partners are working hard on a world-facing [rear] solution.” The report states the Face ID will also be added to Apple’s 2018 iPad Pro which is coming this summer.

One Bitcoin Will Be Awarded to the First Player to Beat This New PC Game

Cryptocurrency — Bitcoin in particular — has taken the world by storm with people far and wide looking to explore and analyze the currency’s true power. A new PC game has been making its way around the web, which, not only targets hardcore puzzle gamers, but those interested in earing a little digital coin. The first person to complete the game will be awarded one bitcoin (approximately $10,000 USD).

MonteCrypto: The Bitcoin Enigma contains a series of 24 “mind-bending” puzzles, which have to be found and solved. Gem Rose Accent, the game’s developers, have even gone as far to say “this game must be amongst the hardest you’ve ever played.” A multiplayer function adds another dimension, as players can link up with others to find clues and solve puzzles. However, with one bitcoin awaiting only one winner, MonteCrypto: The Bitcoin Enigma does stick to an “every man for himself” philosophy, so players should be mindful of who they team up with.

The game is expected to make its debut on February 20 via Steam. In case you missed it, criminals are now using Litecoin instead of Bitcoin.

Viacom Prepares to Launch Its Own Streaming Service

Viacom, the broadcasting company that owns networks such as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and MTV — is now officially entering the streaming race. Since the Netflix led the charge into streaming and original content, the structure of the film and TV industry has been greatly challenged. While Viacom pulled its content from Hulu in early 2017 to focus on the “traditional” cable subscription model, it seems they can no longer deny the inevitable future of the streaming. As would-be customers are finding less incentives to purchase cable and landline packages, these broadcasting corporations must be ready to pivot with the times.

On the new direction, CEO Robert Bakish attempted to downplay the move, claiming “We do not view this as a substitute product. We view this as a complement.” Being the newest to enter the game, it will be interesting to see how Viacom approaches content streaming, and how much their strategy will differ from competitors.
